POLITICIANS WITH DEAD CONSCIENCE - LIKE YAR'ADUA LIKE SUNTAI

Image
To say Many Politicians do not have a conscience is an understatement, they are callous and wicked. In a Nation of so much poverty, can our Politicians justify entertaining guest with champagne that cost as much as 150,000 Naira a bottle in cartons and on daily basis? Why fly Private Jets in the midst of so much lack? Must they travel in long conveys, even in the face of Fuel Scarcity? Nothing typifies the heartlessness of Many Politicians as much as their failure to pay civil servants their meager Monthly Income. I have stated elsewhere that our failure to ask those we elected or allowed to be selected into Public Office questions is one contributing factor to their display of arrogance and disdain for the masses. Why were the Governors unable to pay Salaries (Including some States that pockets 13% Derivation Monthly)? Governance is all about Management, we knew of the dwindling Oil revenue, how come we were unprepared for it? Yes we hail the so called Bail

TINUBU: IS THIS THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME?

TINUBU: IS THIS THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME? “Maturity is the capacity to endure uncertainty.” ~ John Huston Finley Nigerians by now are used to the unpredictability of governance as we have endured mostly uncertainty in the past eight (8) years But I think supporters and none supporters of BAT would have hoped for a better way to commence his days in office and not to be welcomed with uncertainty occasioned by a needless pronouncement and the nightmare of fuel scarcity that followed  Having a positive start for the administration would have given the nay sayers the impression that there may be light at the end of the tunnel after all.  The damage control notwithstanding, it's obvious our President is convinced that if Nigerians either directly or Mahmoudly opted to have him as president amidst uncontrolled inflation, bitting fuel scarcity and unavailability of cash due to the ill conceived and not well thought out policy of currency redesign his Party embarked upon, then we are a

BE MINDFUL

BE MINDFUL: Habits are formed and or sustained by repetition. Our brains are wired to protect us, so they tend to enjoy anything that you consistently do. That's why it's very easy to imbibe an habit albeit a bad one than break it.

RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

RECIPE FOR SUCCESS: A few positive actions repeated daily result in winning and a few mistakes repeated every day result in failure. Notice two important keywords here: ▪Repeated & ▪Daily Repetition is the mother of learning. We should recognise the extraordinary power of repetition. Repetition brings consistency and consistency results in proficiency; it is proficiency that really shapes our lives.

CHANGE FOR GROWTH

Image
MAKE THAT CHANGE: The late Pop legend Michael Jackson in one of his hit songs has these lines "....(If you want to make the world a better place) Take a look at yourself, and then make a change......"   ~ Michael Jackson - Man in the Mirror (2012 Remaster)  We have known for long that "It's our habits that defines our habitat" but more often we feel helpless in our old habits and continue with the same pattern of living, working, spending, sleeping, tv-ing, gaming, etc hoping someday some outside force will help break the circle.

DAILY IMPROVEMENTS

IT'S SO VITAL TO TRAIN AND RETRAIN:

Image
IT'S SO VITAL TO TRAIN AND RETRAIN: To us at The Bikome Affairs training is like ridding a bike, to maintain peak performance, you've got to keep training and retraining. The Scriptures says; "The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city." Because, he doesn't know how, he wearieth everyone, including the owner of the business.

NEVER STOP LEARNING:

NEVER STOP LEARNING: But that information would be very valuable—we would learn how someone who had it all messed it up. Learning from other people’s adventures and mistakes is valuable information because we can learn what not to do without the pain of having tried and failed ourselves. As Haruki Murakami asserts “Unfortunately the clock is ticking, the hours are going by. The past increases, the future recedes. Possibilities decreasing, regrets mounting.”
