MINDSET

"Real difficulties can be overcome.
It is only the imaginary
ones that are unconquerable."
~ Theodore N. Vail

Our minds is our greatest asset and our greatest burden, you never hear a truer word. Our minds are so loaded that the Almighty God our Creator said ".......... After this, nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them!" ~ Genesis 11:6 {NLT}
Compare that to this "........ Everything is possible for the one who believes"" ~ Jesus Christ - Mark 9:23 {NIV}
Napoleon Hill puts it succinctly when he said "Whatever the Human mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve"

So why is it difficult for many of us to utilize this free gift generously given to us? Mindset. What is mindset? A Person's way of thinking and opinion, the established set of attitudes held by someone. These established way of thinking that had been built over the years forms invincible barriers that stops us from attaining our true potentials.

For anything to change around you, something MUST first change within. Peak Milk says "It's in you" we were all born naked and we came into this World with no material substance but we did not arrive empty, the Almighty Creator endowed us with Talents, Gifts and abilities. He said of Prophet Jeremiah "Before I created you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I set you apart; I made you a Prophet to the Nations." ~ Jeremiah 1:5 {CEB}

Oprah Winfrey says "When I was growing up in Mississippi, I never believed what people said about being poor, or black, or female. I believed I was God's child, therefore I could do anything." See where her believes landed her.

Some of the believes holding us from moving forward and making us prisoners where the things we were told in those formative years between age 6 and 12.

How do you break these invincible barriers?
1) Feed your mind with Positive thoughts and affirmations by reading the Bible, Good Christian Books and listen to tapes
2) Look for a Mentor. Someone who has what you are looking for.
3) Zap every negative thought.
4) Confess only what you want to see, not what you don't want to see
5) See yourself in the light of God's Word and Act the part until it manifest. A wise man once said "Keep pretending you are what you believe you will be and one day you will discover you are no longer pretending"

Make That Shift Today!

  1. But, oftentimes, when you pretend to be what you want to be in life or future , people tend to think you are fake or rather, that you are living a fake life. How about that?
