We are also experts in complaining about the problems but we are not willing to pay the price to come up with solutions to the Problems.

At the Aspire Global Conference 2018 Speaker after Speaker charged participants to become solution providers as “Value responds to Value” which reminds me of the birth of the Brand “Sizzlers Fast Food and Restaurant”



Dr. McCarthy Ijiebor, saw a problem, no decent place to eat in the oil city, he could have whined about it and blame the government for not doing anything which is basically our stock-in-trade. He took action at a time when it was not popular, and came up with the Brand “Sizzlers”

He not only solved a problem and employed thousands in the process, he paved the way for others to venture into the same business. This is a salute to a Pioneer in the Fast Food Industry in the South – South Dr. McCarthy Ijiebor.

More on the Aspire Global Conference later. For now look at the myriad if problems around you and ask “Why Not” as a wise man puts it “Necessity is not the Mother of Invention, challenging the status quo is the Mother of Invention”

THE KAIAMA DECLARATION ALMOST 16 YEARS AFTER ~ WHERE DID WE MISS IT  - Part 1 One of the best pieces of Declaration and one that changed the way the Ijaws were viewed by the Nigerian State is The Kaiama declaration. 11 th December, 2014 will make it 16 years since that Historical document authored by some of the best minds in the Ijaw Nation was made.
