HELPING THE NEEDY IS DOING THE RIGHT THING!

'You will never go without
if you give to the poor.
But if you’re heartless,

A Few years back, I was in the company of some friends along Airport Road in Warri drinking and having what we termed good time,  when a gentleman approached our table and whispered in the ears of one us that he has not had any food to eat for about two days if we can help. We were touched and everyone in the table reached to their pockets and gave him as much as each could spare

But that singular encounter got us thinking;
How many people go to Bed each night on empty stomachs?
How many are in Orphanage homes hungry for food and essentially love?
How many drop out of school because their parents can't afford school fees? Questions & more questions

That encounter gave birth to an Organization called Frendzwitoutborders, a non profit organization committed to putting smiles in faces by extending a hug for all.

But this is why am sharing this with us today;
Every year as our Nation marks her independence, we take out time with family members to put smiles in the faces of Orphans as we Party, Wine & Dine with the kids of a particular home, this is aside the Monthly visit to Orphanage or Remand or old Peoples homes, Visiting Hospitals to Settles bills for those who can't afford to pay, empowering students and pupils with back to school kits etc.

Consider how blessed you are and spare a thought for those who are not so fortunate. Lets all make the sacrifice to be part of it this year and if you can't make it. let your Money represent you!

We were in Benin last year and everyone present were touched & shed tears when the little boys in the orphanage home we visited prayed for the Team.

Your giving to the Poor is never a waste.

THE KAIAMA DECLARATION ALMOST 16 YEARS AFTER ~ WHERE DID WE MISS IT  - Part 1 One of the best pieces of Declaration and one that changed the way the Ijaws were viewed by the Nigerian State is The Kaiama declaration. 11 th December, 2014 will make it 16 years since that Historical document authored by some of the best minds in the Ijaw Nation was made.
