BE MINDFUL
BE MINDFUL:
Habits are formed and or sustained by repetition. Our brains are wired to protect us, so they tend to enjoy anything that you consistently do. That's why it's very easy to imbibe an habit albeit a bad one than break it.
It's easy then to understand why many flow with the tide. Life repeats itself mindlessly. Unless you become mindful, it will go on repeating itself like a wheel.
To be mindful is to be aware of something that may be important. It's mindfulness that makes you savour every moment and never take anything for granted or allow familiarity to breed disrespect
As Jon Kabat-Zinn puts it; "Mindfulness is a way of befriending ourselves and our experience." life is not a merry go round, life is living every moment, knowing that the past is gone and you have very little control over the future. As a wise man puts it; "The present moment is the only time over which we have dominion." be mindful.
