TINUBU: IS THIS THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME?

TINUBU: IS THIS THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME?

“Maturity is the capacity

to endure uncertainty.”

~ John Huston Finley

Nigerians by now are used to the unpredictability of governance as we have endured mostly uncertainty in the past eight (8) years

But I think supporters and none supporters of BAT would have hoped for a better way to commence his days in office and not to be welcomed with uncertainty occasioned by a needless pronouncement and the nightmare of fuel scarcity that followed

Having a positive start for the administration would have given the nay sayers the impression that there may be light at the end of the tunnel after all.

The damage control notwithstanding, it's obvious our President is convinced that if Nigerians either directly or Mahmoudly opted to have him as president amidst uncontrolled inflation, bitting fuel scarcity and unavailability of cash due to the ill conceived and not well thought out policy of currency redesign his Party embarked upon, then we are already used to the suffering and smiling (apologies to The Legend)

And he is not far from the truth, Nigerians are matured and the hallmark of maturity is the capacity to deal with uncertainty. Handlers of Mr. President should know that the campaigns are over and anything he says now is taken seriously as they can see with the fuel scarcity.

We hope sincerely that this not "the shape of things to come?"
