I HATE MY JOB

"You never achieve success unless you like what you are doing."  ~ Dale Carnegie.

It was Confucius who said "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life"
It will really be a pleasurable ride if our jobs was our Hobby, Life would have been one Happy song daily and we will all be filled with smiles all the way to Heaven. But in a world of very few job opportunities and an ever rising unemployed figures, finding a job you like is like looking for a needle in a haystack, how many of are willing to wait for that dream job?

As they say in our local parlance "When the desired is not available, the available becomes the desired" so many are scrubbing it out daily in miserable Jobs, job that are making them sick. Famous motivational speaker Les Brown says; "The number one killer disease in America is Heart diseases." He went on to say Many Americans have their first major heart attack on Monday mornings around 8 am, People getting ready to go to work in jobs that they hate.

If you find yourself in a similar condition, this article is for you. Like Maya Angelou said "If you don't like something change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude" by Being Grateful for that Job instead of Complaining, Grumbling and Murmuring as that will only make the Situation worse - Remember the Bible account of The Children of Israel, how a journey of Forty Days was extended to Forty years and all the associated pains, discomfort, loses and deaths all because they Murmured, Complained and Grumbled. Gratitude will open the door for New things to Happen and it will also make you feel better about yourself and the Situation and in time you will witness changes.

You may ask me how do I feel grateful for a Job that I hate? Consider this:
*There are Hundreds, perhaps thousands who will gratefully accept that same job you loath.
*In a country of high unemployed figures, you are fortunate to have one.
*You are better off than most of your Country Men and Women who earn far less than you.
*In Life generally, there is always something to be grateful for.
Remember the proverb "I was complaining I had no shoes, until I met someone who had no feet"

See You On Top
