PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP) BURUTU LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA EXECUTIVE – WHERE ARE THE POLITICIANS WITH PRINCIPLES?

“Having resolved issue No. 1 in favour of the Plaintiff (SAGBEGHA KOROKOROSEI), I will immediately answer issue No. 2 in the positive. And for the avoidance of doubt, the purported swearing in of the 1st defendant (OGBEIBIRI KENNETH) by the 2nd Defendant (PETER NWABOSHI) on the 1st of October, 2012 as the Chairman of the 3rd Defendant (PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY) for Burutu Local Government Area is illegal, unconstitutional and of no legal effect whatsoever and I so hold
In fact, the mere fact that the inauguration of the 1st Defendant (OGBEIBIRI KENNETH) took place on 1st October, which is a Public Holiday Nationwide and almost 7 Months after the election without cogent reason renders the swearing in a suspect and illegal.
It is also my firm view that all the Documents exhibited by the 1st Defendant (OGBEIBIRI KENNETH) are after thought and must have been doctored long after the Plaintiff (SAGBEGHA KOROKOROSEI) was duly elected as the Chairman of the 3rd defendant (PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY) for Burutu Local Government Area on the 10th March, 2012.
Finally, from the above findings, all the 5 questions posed for determination by the Plaintiff (SAGBEGHA KOROKOROSEI)   be and are answered in the affirmative and consequently, all the 11 reliefs sought by him (SAGBEGHA KOROKOROSEI) are hereby granted as Prayed.


This is the judgment of this Court. I will make no order for cost.”

THE KAIAMA DECLARATION ALMOST 16 YEARS AFTER ~ WHERE DID WE MISS IT  - Part 1 One of the best pieces of Declaration and one that changed the way the Ijaws were viewed by the Nigerian State is The Kaiama declaration. 11 th December, 2014 will make it 16 years since that Historical document authored by some of the best minds in the Ijaw Nation was made.
