One thing that this lack of respect and mindfulness age had produced is the death of Mentor ship.

Our prideful hearts will not acknowledge that we need others in our journey through life. Which is an error.

WHO IS A MENTOR?
A Mentor is "Someone who teaches or gives help and advice to a less experienced and often younger person" simply put a Mentor is "one who knows the way and shows the way"


WHY DO I NEED A MENTOR?

Whatever you want to do, someone has done it before and because the bitter experience of learning from mistakes is not to be desired, it pays to follow the one that has gone ahead of you.
"Look to Abraham your father ........." ~ Isaiah 51:2. Paul the Apostle said "Follow me as I follow Christ" Everyone of us needs a Mentor.


THE CIRCLE OF MENTOR SHIP

All of us need someone we can tap from, someone we can share with and someone we can download to. it is a triangle, I call the "MENTOR TRIANGLE" Let's look at the life of Apostle Paul, Barnabas was his Mentor that he tapped from, Silas was the One he shared with and Timothy was the one he download to. 

You receive from your Mentor and because learning is best when one learns with the mindset to teach others, you learn faster and then have someone you continuously share with - A great man of God in this Country testified how he read a book and the book so blessed him, he set out to share the timeless truth with some brethren and that is how he heard the leading voice of the Holy Spirit for the first time, and then you should have a Mentee, someone you can keep impacting as you are being impacted. 



Commit to finding a Mentor in your chosen field, commit to sharing the knowledge gained and be a Mentor to someone.


It is ok to doubt what you had been taught.

THE KAIAMA DECLARATION ALMOST 16 YEARS AFTER ~ WHERE DID WE MISS IT  - Part 1 One of the best pieces of Declaration and one that changed the way the Ijaws were viewed by the Nigerian State is The Kaiama declaration. 11 th December, 2014 will make it 16 years since that Historical document authored by some of the best minds in the Ijaw Nation was made.
