APC LACKS SOLUTIONS TO NIGERIA'S CHALLENGE - LAMIDO



The Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, on Wednesday said the All Progressives Congress, APC, lacks solutions to Nigeria’s challenges.
Mr. Lamido said this at the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential rally in Dutse, Jigawa.
According to him, no amount of abuse or intimidation from any quarters will deter him from campaigning for the Goodluck Jonathan/Namadi Sambo ticket and other PDP candidates in February 14 and 28 general elections.
“I urge (northern) leaders to stand up and say ‘no to this culture of blackmail’ where we have been taken hostages by people who mean nothing for Nigeria,” Mr. Lamido said. “In APC their only necklace is Buhari, their only decoration is Buhari. Remove Buhari from APC that party becomes dead and there is no way Nigeria’s hope will be pinned on a single individual; it does not work. Which means if there is no Buhari, there is no Nigeria. There will be Nigeria after five years, there will be Nigeria after Jonathan, there will be Nigeria after Buhari because there had been Nigeria before Jonathan, before Buhari.”
According to him, APC is a “One-Man Party” that lacks tangible solutions to challenges facing Nigeria.

Mr. Lamido, who further described the APC as a party of “10/11,” vowed to continue to express his support and solidarity to all the PDP candidates in the next elections.
He also called on the people of the state to come out en masse and vote for the Jonathan/Sambo ticket and other PDP candidates of their choice. He urged them not to be intimidated by anybody or group.
Also speaking, the Vice President, Namadi Sambo, commended Mr. Lamido for transforming Jigawa into an enviable state.
He pledged that the Federal Government under President Jonathan would continue to provide infrastructural facilities in the state.
He advised the electorate in the state to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs, to enable them to vote for all the PDP candidates in the February elections.
Mr. Sambo described President Goodluck Jonathan as a “detribalised person who loves all Nigerians, irrespective of the ethnic or religious backgrounds.”

To say Many Politicians do not have a conscience is an understatement, they are callous and wicked. In a Nation of so much poverty, can our Politicians justify entertaining guest with champagne that cost as much as 150,000 Naira a bottle in cartons and on daily basis?
