Somebody humorously said “If you are political thug, tell your Boss, you want to marry his daughter, his response will let you know where you stand” so true.

Where in the world did we get this idea that being a Politician’s Thug is an occupation? So you have served this man for 8years or more and all you have to show for your miserable life is the clothes on your back, a roof over your head and if you are lucky a car. Your life typifies an NFA – No Future Ambition.

But the blame rest squarely on the shoulders of the Politician who do not see the need to develop the leaders around him- his immediate followers. Their neglect mirrors the neglect of the masses that they swore on oat to serve.


It must not be send them to school, your boys should not remain boys forever, you are not only robbing them of their creativity and passion but you also deprave society the benefits of their unique gifting.

Charity begins at home, the so called boys should be the first beneficiaries of your Capacity building programs. When every politician adopt the policy of ensuring that their boys graduate from thuggery to entrepreneur, artisan etc, soon we will no longer need the services of thugs to protect us from other thugs.

We must teach them to fish and not continue to give them fish.

We are here to bridge the gap!

To say Many Politicians do not have a conscience is an understatement, they are callous and wicked. THE KAIAMA DECLARATION ALMOST 16 YEARS AFTER ~ WHERE DID WE MISS IT  - Part 1 One of the best pieces of Declaration and one that changed the way the Ijaws were viewed by the Nigerian State is The Kaiama declaration. 11 th December, 2014 will make it 16 years since that Historical document authored by some of the best minds in the Ijaw Nation was made.
