OSUN: IN SEARCH OF A GOOD MAN???

If anything, the Osun gubernatorial rerun election have shown that we far from Democracy as the world understands Democracy. Even the declared winner was not convinced he won clean and square and to add insult to injury, supposed neutral election observers became partisan singing the praises of the Electoral body, and going ahead to  threaten  hell if anyone dare ask for it’s Chairman and Commissioners to be replaced. This is Nigeria!

If your hopes are tied to the expected outcome of the 2019 General Elections, then think again. The times we are in are dangerous times. Under this administration, we’ve had someone claim killings in certain parts of the Country were reprisal attacks for Cows killed – equating human life with that of a Cow, not only is that man walking the streets a free, the seat of power encourages him to do more saying “More people were killed in the previous administration than the present” they however did not specify how many more lives have to go to even the score.

This is Nigeria!



The present Governor of Osun State is not rated as one of the best performing Governors in the Country. That he remained a Governor for eight years to many observers speaks volumes about our Democratic Values. Reign he did and he insist on his Candidate, someone who had served him for eight years taking over from him and it must come to pass.
Robbie Fowler the Liverpool Legend was awarded a penalty March 24,1997, when Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman appears to have brought him down in the box. Fowler then went to the referee to correct the decision. Although the Penalty stood as it is with the rules of Football, Fowler apologised to Seaman and was awarded a commendation from UEFA for his honesty.

Where are the Good men in the APC? Where are the Good Men in INEC? Where are the Good Men in Osun State that will stand up for the truth? A wise man once said “The World is a dangerous place to live in, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who watch and do nothing” will Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola like Robbie Fowler be the Good man to refuse a victory he knows he never earned???

Let the Good Man Stand up!

THE KAIAMA DECLARATION ALMOST 16 YEARS AFTER ~ WHERE DID WE MISS IT  - Part 1 One of the best pieces of Declaration and one that changed the way the Ijaws were viewed by the Nigerian State is The Kaiama declaration. 11 th December, 2014 will make it 16 years since that Historical document authored by some of the best minds in the Ijaw Nation was made.
