ACCUMULATION DOES NOT TRANSLATE TO RELEVANCE:

We have heard the saying that “Life is as simple as ABC” to many a Politician the ABC of Life is;
A – Acquire, B – Acquire, C – Acquire
No Sir,
The ABC of life is;
A – Service, B – Service, C – Service
A- Service to God
B- Service to your Family

C- Service to Humanity. 

The Almighty God ensured that nothing exist for itself. A wise man once said “Corruption is not our problem, greed, insatiable greed is our Problem” so true! Nigeria is largely a consumer nation today because the Political Class is mostly consumer oriented and no Nation grows above its Leaders.

The first Blackman to rule the United States of America Barack Obama said this of the Late Nelson Mandela; “As a leader he achieved more than could be expected of any man…. we have lost one of the most influential, Courageous and profound good human beings that any of us will share time with”

Is there any mention of how many houses or cars or how much he had in his accounts? No! Why?
Those things don’t increase your influence. There is no one in History that was remembered only for being wealthy. it’s what they did that counts not material possession. There is a man in Scripture that was called a fool because like many politicians today, he was fixated on accumulation.

It was Johann Wolfgang von Goethe who said “Things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things which matter least” please get your priorities right.

We are here to bridge the gap.

To say Many Politicians do not have a conscience is an understatement, they are callous and wicked. In a Nation of so much poverty, can our Politicians justify entertaining guest with champagne that cost as much as 150,000 Naira a bottle in cartons and on daily basis? THE KAIAMA DECLARATION ALMOST 16 YEARS AFTER ~ WHERE DID WE MISS IT  - Part 1 One of the best pieces of Declaration and one that changed the way the Ijaws were viewed by the Nigerian State is The Kaiama declaration. 11 th December, 2014 will make it 16 years since that Historical document authored by some of the best minds in the Ijaw Nation was made.
