EMPLOYEE EXPECTATIONS: COMPENSATION/PAY
We have been looking at the expectations of the workforce from their Employers. We began by saying, although the wants of the workforce are practically unlimited, diverse and as different our finger prints, certain needs stand out and are consistent with majority of employees.
Today we look at the fourth of the Employee Expectations in the workplace: COMPENSATION/PAY
Notably, Compensation/Pay comes fourth and not first. Many employers have this wrong notion that "salary paid equals motivation" they are won't to say; "I pay them as at when due so they should put in their best". This erroneous impression has led to many losing some of their best hands to rivals who even pay less but have better work ethics and strong company culture that promotes camaraderie.

But beyond the paycheck there are other things the employee needs that are even of much more importance to him than money in the bank at the end of the Month.
